This film is a massive documentary of the first, and still secret, genocide of the 20th century.

Hakobyan, Michael (Mikayel)

Michael (Mikayel) Hakobyan (born 1913, Kharbert, now in Turkey)
He survived the Genocide by being hid in a draw-well by his parents. He immigrated to USA in 1923 and received degrees at Berkely and Harvard universities. In 1943, he performed his miltary service in India where he shot his first film about the Ganges iver. In 1950, this film was awarded the first prize at the Cleveland festival. In 1979 he established the Armenian Film Foundation in Thousand Oaks, California.
