Hidden Truths

Nicaragua
2003, 51min.

Script/Dir.:Rossana Lacayo, Dir. of phot.: Frank Pineda , Edit.: Gerardo Arce, Prod.: Martha Clarisa Hernandez y Jose Luis Herguedas.

The film gives voice to a group of women who silently earn their living selling their bodies. For once they are given an opportunity to express themselves freely, without concern for moral double standards that condemn but offer no alternative. As a daring witness, the camera observes without judgment and interpretation, as a daring witness.
