This is an experimental short film that uses narration and one image, an old family photograph, to tell about the filmmaker’s grandparents. They are Armenian Genocide survivors, and he shows his relation to these two people who passed away without him ever meeting them.

Christopher Atamian (born 1966, New York)
Writer and filmmaker, he attended the University of Southern California Film School and Harvard University. He holds an MBA from Columbia University, and he writes a column for amNew York, contributes to The New York Times, The New York Press, City magazine, The Armenian Reporter, Armenian Review and other publications. Has produced and directed music videos and films. He recently finished his first novel, Speaking French. Christopher is the founder and executive director of Nor Alik, a successful Armenian cultural institution that produces lectures, film festivals and supports Armenian schools and cultural institutions.
