The film tells us about the life and creative work of an outstanding Armenian painter, Vano Khojabekyan.

Ayvazyan, Aghasi

Aghasi Ayvazyan (born 1925, Abustumani, Georgia)
1942- entered Academy of Arts in Tbilisi, later studied at the Department of Philology of Georgian University. 1945- continued his education in Yerevan Fine Arts Institute. 1954 – started to publish articles in the Armenian newspapers in Tbilisi and later in Yerevan. 1959 – published his first book. 1965 – moved to Yerevan and worked in the newspaper “Grakan Tert.” 1973 –80 – editor of “Ekran” magazine, in the early 90-s edited “Hayutiun” weekly. Since 1981 – has been shooting films based on his own scripts.
