She was born in Iowa City. She is the daughter of musician Ovannes Salibian, film journalist, Talin Voskerichian, and the grand granddaughter of one of the greats of Armenian literature, Hagop Oshagan. In 2004, she graduated from the Program of Film and Video at the California Institute of Arts in Valencia. Currently she works in Los Angeles in film and television production.
