Graduated from Yerevan State Pedagogical Institute. In 1970, he started his work at Hayfilm Studio as an animator and later as art director and as director of animated films. He was the artistic head of the animation workshop at Hayfilm Studio. He created 33 animated films and more than 100 microfilms (30 sec.-3 min.).
