Antonio Pisapia, known as Tony, is a pop singer. He has a namesake, a few years younger, who is a professional football player. They have completely different characters: the first is a cynical and egocentric braggart, while the other is shy, humble and morose. One day, their destinies crosses.

He has written for both film and TV. He won the Solinas Award with Tongues of Flame (1997), and in 1998 directed the short Love Has Not Borders. The screenplay for One Man Up won the RAI International Award in 1999. His last film Consequences of love has been presented in competition at then Cannes Film festival 2004.
