Masha’s father and Katya’s grandfather are on paternity leave. They are among the few, the very few men from Kiev who dared to use their right to take parental leave.

Rudik, Nina

Born 1955, Kiev, Ukraine.
Graduated in 1978 from the Department of Cultural Work of Kiev State Institute of Culture where she majored in theatrical direction. Between 1979 and 1992 she worked as a director of the Children’s and Youth Program at the State Television and Radio Company, she worked as a director of the International Private Television and Radio Company ICTV. Since 1994, she has worked as the principal of Television Programs in the Ukraine Educational Reform Program.
