She is one of the famous actresses of contemporary Iranian cinema. Studied in Farsi and Armenian secondary schools, and graduated with a diploma in the natural science in 1987. She chose to continue her studies in theatre and graduated from the Department of Fine Art of Tehran University. Since 1991 she has been working professionally as an actress in cinema and theatre, and has received many national and international awards. She also writes scripts and articles. This film is her debut as a director.
