From 1986 to 1987 he studied in the Moscow Radio and TV Institute with a faculty of cinematographers. From 1977 to 1992, he worked at the “Yerevan” studio of TV films as a cameraman. From 1992 to 1995, he worked in The National Film Archives of Armenia, and from 1995–1997 at the “Ar” TV studio. Since 1997, he has been working at the “Shoghakat” TV studio as chief cameraman.
