Muron is traditionally prepared every seven years by mixing more than forty types of oils, roots, and herbs. A lengthy process follows to cook and purify the perfumed oil before transferring it to a special cauldron placed on the altar for forty days.

Bezjian, Nigol

Nigol Bezjian (born 1955, Aleppo, Syria)
Grew up in Beirut, Lebanon before moving to the USA where he completed his High School and attended New York School of Visual Arts (BFA in Cinema) and then his (MFA in Cinema) at UCLA. He has made features, shorts, experimental and documentary films; many of them have secured international awards, and festivals continue to screen his films. Recently he established his own production company, Think Plus, for media, TV and film production services. Currently he is in preparation for several of his own documentary films.
